On the 15th December the opening of the painter Hadji-Murad Alikhanov’s works took place in the Gallery “System” at Gorki-8. Color is not simply a fact of life but presents mood and feelings for this painter. Alikhanov comes from Dagestan, where he began his study in the arts. Alikhanov became interested in Eisenstein’s research on color, and at the completion of his studies he made a decision to continue his education as a stage director, so he moved to Leningrad. For Alikhanov the two professions of painter and director have much in common. It is said that his works give relief from stress, using the colors that are so vivid and harmonious.
