Horses, lawns, ladies’ hats, and dressage. No, you’re not in England. Moscow’s Otradnoye Equestrian Center has held the Moscow Region’s Governor’s Cup Equestrian Tournament every year since 2004. This year’s competition, which was held from June 19-22, had a particularly sweet ending: thanks to a sponsor, the winner of the hat contest was awarded a 16-kilogram hat made of chocolate. Riders competed in dressage and jumping events for a grand prize of €5,625, which this year went to Olga Chechina and her horse, Ramzes.
