Paparazzi Master Class

Paparazzi Master Class Today the term “paparazzi” couldn’t be more familiar, but we owe it to Paparazzo, the photographer character in Federico Fellini’s 1960 film La Dolce Vita. Real-life photographer Rino Barillari is thought to have been Fellini’s inspiration for Paparazzo, and the August 7 opening of the first-ever exhibit in Russia of Barillari’s work revealed that Paparazzo’s Russian protégés have learned their lessons well. The live flashes died down, leaving Barillari’s photographs of the world’s rich and famous on display in the open air along the street. If you want to experience the limelight, the exhibit runs through October 10 outdoors along Moscow’s Stoleshnikov Pereulok.
