Diamonds by the Square Metre
The largest jewellery store in Russia, New Russian Jewellery House, was opened by “Arkada” on Friday the 24th of November. Situated on Krasnaya Presna Street, within its 500m2 it houses a collection of the leading jewellery designers from Russia and abroad. what we at Passport Magazine like about it is their claim that there is one carat of diamonds for every square metre of floor space. Certainly, there were plenty of big rocks on display at the opening party; Arkada presented a 34 carat diamond worth $1.3 million. The highpoint of the evening was the presentation of “de Leri Jewelry,” a new exclusive jewellery brand created by Valeria, who is one of Russia’s most well-known popular singers. Valeria herself attended the opening, dressed very elegantly in black, and wearing a necklace with an eye-catching diamond. 'De Leri' features blue and pink diamonds; we like best the necklaces with white diamonds.
