Doing Good

The British Business Club met at the Marriott Grand Hotel in December. More than one-hundredfifty members and invited guests were present when Her Majesty’s Ambassador Mr Anthony Brenton handed over a cheque in the sum of $30,000 to the Taganka Children’s Fund. This substantial amount of money was the proceeds from the previous month’s Trafalgar Ball.

At this same event Mr Michael Belford also presented money to the fund; the proceeds from the Village Fete held in September under the auspices of the Anglican Church.

A lottery was held this same evening at the Marriott Grand, for the members of the British Business Club, with a main prize donated by Sun Interbrew; tickets for two people to London on the new BMI flight.
