CERBA Russo-British Joint Meeting
On February 15, Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association (CERBA) and the Russo- British Chamber of Commerce (RBCC) headed by Neil Cooper co-hosted the Governor of Ulyanovsk Region, Sergei Ivanovich Morozov, at a joint event at the Holiday Inn Sokolniki. Morozov delivered a powerful presentation on investment opportunities in Ulyanovsk Region.
The event was held at the recently opened Holiday Inn Sokolniki, which has the capacity to host over 1,000 guests. As the President of the Moscow Chapter of CERBA, Nathan Hunt, put it, “this isn’t your average Holiday Inn”. The General- Manager of this state of the art facility, Markku Wahlberg, was proud to host over 300 Russian, British and Canadian guests, who included Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Russia Mr. Anthony Brenton, and his Canadian counterpart Mr. Ralph Lysyshyn. This fifth joint CERBA and RBCC event once again demonstrated the continued spirit of cooperation and friendship between British and Canadian business communities in Russia.
