Elite Chooses a New Russian Face

The world’s most prestigious modeling network, Elite Model Management, concluded its regular search for a new Russian face in a competition in Moscow in September. The contest has gained popularity in Russia with the success of Nizhny Novgorod model, Natalya Vodyanova, who was the idol for 25 girls from across Russia who strutted their stuff in defense of Russia’s renown as the land of the world’s most beautiful and alluring women.

Sponsored by home appliances manufacturer Rowenta, the beauty competition at the Manezh was judged by a jury including the president of Elite World, Bernard Ene, the President of Elite Model Look Russia, Anton Alfer, the General Director of Rowenta, Reno de Butler under the watchful gaze of an audience of celebrities. The choice of Nika Kushe as the winner and recipient of a $150,000 modeling contract as well as an invitation to compete in the international Elite Model Contest.
